All about Mobius Motion...
Mobius Motion is a movement studio that guides its clients through their personal fitness programs to meet their goals with the practice of GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS®.
Mobius Motion's owner and instructor, Krystyna Wiercioch, earned a double BA in Mathematics and Dance at San Francisco State Univ., and a Master's in Education from LA State and Dance Education at Temple Univ. Her movement certifications include Pilates, Level I & II Franklin Method teacher, Gyrokinesis, Gyrotonic, and Gyrotonic Pretrainer. Krystyna's training in the Franklin Method and kinesiology supports her knowledge of the body and approach to each individual's needs. Her experience brings a fluid and intelligent understanding of movement to the client, guiding them to gain a greater awareness of their bodies.
Mobius Motion, inspired by Krystynas mathematics background, compares the visual and physical properties of the Mobius Strip to the movement and principles of Gyrotonic exercise. Simply defined, the Mobius Strip is a 2-dimensional object that can only exist in a 3-dimensional space and has only one side. This complexity of shapes in space inspires Krystynas knowledge and journey to better understand the body and how to present these findings to her clients.

The octopus, the monkey and the cat are my basic models because they can move in any direction at any given time with strength and control because they have no restrictions. The human body has restrictions, but I can model the body-- within the framework of its restrictions--to move in a similar way, to be free, he says.
